MOUNT PELION & SKI RESORT

Pelion is close to the east coast of Central Greece and  is the location of some of the most beautiful villages and  beaches in Greece. The peninsular comprises a 44 km. long mountain chain and offers  a wide range of activities on  attractive beaches and mountains.

The ski resort at Pelion is only a 30 minute drive from the property and reaches a height of 1,471m. Facilities of the ski centre include 3 surface lifts, two chair lifts, a descent of 337m. and 5 kms of cross country ski trails. It is one of the few skiing centres which is located close to the sea. Night skiing events take place every Saturday night during the season.

The village of Tsagarada was founded in 1500 and is one of the best known villages in Pelion. It consists of four settlements built around old restored churches.   Tsagarada is a popular tourist destination and is surrounded by forests and a network of paths and nature trails.
